The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is at 717 Court Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Call 910-455-3113 for the main or non-emergency line. Public-facing hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Booking questions go to 910-937-1470; detention and visitation questions go to 910-937-1475. The correct destination depends on the kind of record sought:
- For a county booking record or photo, follow the official request steps and use the Sheriff’s NextRequest portal.
- For current county custody, use the Sheriff app or call the Booking Unit.
- For Jacksonville, Holly Ridge, or Swansboro police reports, contact the arresting city department.
- For court dates and case outcomes, use the North Carolina Judicial Branch or Onslow County Clerk of Superior Court.
- For a person in state prison, on probation, or on parole, use the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction offender search.
- For eligible federal or immigration custody, use the federal BOP or ICE locator.
